The PHS Class of 1955 held their 55th class reunion on October 23rd, 2010 at the Pantego Academy Historical Museum.  Twelve classmates were able to attend.  The academy was beautifully decorated in fall flowers and class colors.  This reunion was made possible by one of the classmate's sister, Meredith Carowan and her daughter, Ann.  Everyone who attended wishes to thank them for all they did to bring about this reunion.  They would also like to thank everyone who has a part in caring and maintaining this beautiful old building for preserving the history of the area and for class reunions and other functions.

Our Annual Veteran's Day

2010

Veterans were honored on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Pantego Academy Historical Museum.  The flag was raised by members of the Belhaven American Legion.  Our National Anthem was song by Sarah Jackson. Everyone enjoyed speakers who gave insight when they were in service.  Russell Tyson was the emcee and he gave some history of our American Flag. The military songs were played and each branch stood when their song was played.  Our program was closed by the lowering of our flag and the singing of God Bless America by Sarah Jackson.  Between 40 and 50 people attended and an afternoon was well spent.

PAHMA wishes to thank all our veterans for the sacrifice they have made for the freedom that we enjoy in our country.  May America always remember what they have done for us.

Remember whenever you see a soldier to thank them for their service.

And remember to fly your flag on November 11, 2010 for Veteran's Day.
